Special Program for Anyone With German Ancestry

On Tuesday, October 7, 2014, the German Special Interest Group (SIG) has scheduled a special presentation by James M. Beidler, professional genealogist whose expertise is German Ancestry.
He will be speaking to us via a Question and Answer Skype session, at 10am, at the Brewster Ladies Library, Rte 6A.

James M. BeidlerMr. Beidler is a well known writer, instructor for the online Family Tree University. columnist for German Life Magazine, and editor of Der Kurier which is the Mid-Atlantic Germanic Society quarterly journal. In 2013, he published The Family Tree German Genealogy Guide which is a wonderful resource for anyone doing German family history research.

You may remember him from a special German workshop he presented to us, September, 2013, on "Researching German Genealogy".  The German SIG was started as an offgrowth of that workshop and currently has over 40 members.

The German SIG is extending an invitation to attend this special program, to all Cape Cod Genealogical Society members.
