The Education Committee of the Society will again be offering a three-part series on "Genealogical Methods" at the Barnstable Senior Center. The dates will be Mondays, October 15, 22, and 29, 2012 from 1:30-3:30pm. The content of the course will include: vital records, church records, wills and probate, appropriate documentation, land records, the census, immigration, migration, computer software for genealogy, and using the internet for genealogical research. Registration and payment may be made through the Barnstable Senior Center for $20 for the entire series by contacting Susan Griffin at 508-862-4761, prior to October 1, 2012.
