Genealogy blogging is becoming more and more widespread. When you create your own genealogy blog, you are then able to exchange information from many places, some of which you may not even be aware, about your family trees and issues related to your research. A Special Workshop on how to organize your own genealogy blog will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 11am to 1pm at the Dennis Public Library in Dennisport, Hall Street. Presented by well-regarded genealogist Marian Pierre-Louis (email@example.com) , the session will demonstrate how to initiate your own blog. Participants are invited to bring their own laptops if possible, so that a blog might be able to be created on the spot.
To reserve a place or ask questions, please send a message to Carolyn Weiss (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday, May 11; the fee will be $10 for CCGS members and is payable at the door by either check made out to CCGS or in cash.
