The National Archives is currently seeking input from the general public about what should be permanently kept from the recently completed 2010 Census. At the moment, the appraisal and records schedule of that census are available for public review and comment. Genealogists are especially invited to go to http://blogs.archives.gov/online-public-access/?p=3762, to read the entire posting and see how to let the Archives know what you think. All comments must be in by 30 December, and they will become part of NARA's official file dealing with the records schedule. Let's all take advantage of this one-time opportunity to have a say in the availability of these records.
