Dan McConnell Gets Into Print Again

Dan McConnell, incoming President of CCGS, has been invited to re-publish his article on the Rev. John Lothrop in the publication of the Scituate (MA) Historical Society. Originally published in the CCGS Bulletin and then posted on the Sturgis Library website, the article describes the important historical significance of Rev. Lothrop and his contributions to early New England history. Dan is a direct descendant of Rev. Lothrop's wife, Hannah Howes, and his brother-in-law Robert Linnell and his wife Peninah Howes Linnell. All were early settlers of Scituate before moving with other founding families to Barnstable in 1639. Dan currently serves as the Historian for the Linnell Family Association and the Lothropp (sic) Foundation.
